Anne Haden
Jersey Biodiversity Centre
My name is Anne, and I have always found joy in plants. From tiny seedlings to towering trees, every plant tells a story that inspires me. I enjoy finding, naming and recording plants and sending the records to the Jersey Biodiversity Centre. Watching plants grow reminds me to be patient, hopeful, and grateful for the wonders of the natural world around us. I believe that caring for plants and the habitats they live in means caring for the environment for future generations. Jersey is home to a wonderful, rich assemblage of wild plants, they need to be identified and protected. I am chairman of the Jersey Biodiversity Centre and Secretary of the Societe Jersiaise Botany Section.
