Jersey Bat Group

With records of 19 species - one more than the UK - Jersey has a sizeable variety of bats who provide strong markers of habit health. Jersey Bat Group has a simple aim - protecting Jersey's bats through conservation, education & care. Caring for the island's bats isn't blasé hypothecation for our charity. An invaluable bat care team coordinates rescue, nurture and release of grounded bats were possible. We strive to have struggling juveniles back on their wings again. Our charity welcomes anyone who's even vaguely interested in a cauque-souothi (Jersiaise for bat, which literally translates as "owl mouse") and carries out regular make bat walks.
