Food is critical at Regen

Over the last three years we have worked with chefs and food supplies that emulate our values. We also invited Jersey Public Health team to further to understand how to ensure that we serve the whole community not just the people who can afford better food. Food is available all day, and we host a lunch, pizza night, a farmers dinners and the Saturday night party. We also invite caterers and suppliers who play a role in feeding the island. At regen all the guests are invited to participate in shaping Jerseys food future, by enjoying the food, challenging the problems and sharing ideas. Food connects soil to people, land to culture, and ideas to action. It is one of the most powerful ways we can regenerate ecosystems, strengthen local economies, and bring people together in meaningful ways. Every meal at Regen Gathering is designed to reflect the values of regeneration, cooperation, and care.

Regenerative Food Systems in Action

We believe that the way food is grown, sourced, prepared, and shared can actively heal landscapes and communities. That’s why Regen Gathering works closely with SCOOP – the Sustainable Cooperative, a collective dedicated to building fair, transparent, and resilient food systems.

Through SCOOP, we collaborate with farmers, growers, foragers, bakers, and producers who are committed to:

  • Regenerative and agroecological practices

  • Ethical labour and fair pay

  • Short supply chains and low waste

  • Deep respect for land, animals, and people

By choosing food that is seasonal, locally sourced, and responsibly produced, we reduce environmental impact while amplifying the livelihoods of those caring for the land.

More Than a Meal

At Regen Gathering, food is an experience of connection:

  • Connection to land and seasons

  • Connection to farmers and producers

  • Connection to each other

Every plate served is a reflection of our belief that regeneration starts at the table. By eating together, learning together, and supporting regenerative food systems, we take a tangible step toward the future we want to create.

Global Inspiration, Local Roots

Alongside local producers, Regen Gathering welcomes globally respected chefs who share our commitment to regenerative food culture. We are proud to invite chefs such as Chef Tom Hunt, known internationally for his work on zero-waste cooking, seasonal eating, and ethical food systems.

These chefs bring inspiration, creativity, and global perspective — transforming simple, thoughtfully sourced ingredients into meals that nourish both body and mind. Through shared meals, talks, and demonstrations, they help spark conversations about how food can be a driver for positive change worldwide.
