The Growing Group

Dr Sinead Peacock-Brennan is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with Jersey's Adult Learning Disability Service and co-founder of the Growing Group, a horticultural therapy project delivered in partnership with the Salvation Army. Since 2019, the group has supported adults with learning disabilities to develop gardening skills, build confidence, improve wellbeing and form meaningful social connections. The group demonstrates the therapeutic and social benefits of growing food and connecting with nature.
